Charlie Cash, ATP, BS, EMT
Charlie Cash is an experienced
facilitator of aviation-based patient safety programs and has provided training,
program facilitation, and implementation for many clients including Vanderbilt
University Medical Center, University Texas Medical Branch, and University of
California—San Diego.
Mr. Cash flew Navy fighters for 25
years, graduated from Navy Fighter Weapons School (TOPGUN), was an F/A-18
squadron Commanding Officer, as well as Commanding Officer of Naval Strike Air
Warfare Center. He currently flies for American Airlines, is the Deputy Chairman
of their Aeromedical Committee, in charge of their Critical Incident Stress
Management Program. Mr. Cash formerly volunteered as a nationally certified EMT
for Virginia Beach EMS.
Charlie Cash is a graduate of the
University of Arkansas with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry. Mr. Cash is
chairman on Human Factor/Safety Review Boards for the Navy, and graduated from
the Navy
Postgraduate Safety School.
