David Dufour, MA, MS
David Dufour is a Project Lead
and a
TeamSTEPPSTM Master Trainer for
LifeWings with 13 years of experience leading, training, and facilitating
aviation safety and
Crew Resource Management (CRM). He has worked
with hospitals such as University of California—Fresno, University of California
- Davis, University of Texas Medical Branch - Galveston, Mount Carmel Health
System, Memorial Healthcare System, and Texas Orthopedic Hospital to implement
LifeWings
patient safety programs.
Mr. Dufour recently retired as a Navy Flight Officer from the US Navy. While
with the Navy, Dave completed Aviation Safety Officer, Aviation Safety Command,
Aircrew Coordination Training (ACT) Facilitator, and CRM Model Manager training,
and applied these skills as an ACT/CRM Facilitator, NATOPS Officer, Squadron
Safety Officer, Wing Safety Officer, E-2C Group 0 Model Manager and Squadron
Officer in Charge.
Mr. Dufour holds a graduate degree in Management from Troy State and a bachelor
degree in Computer Science from Texas A&M University. In addition, he is a
graduate of the Air Command and Staff College with a graduate degree in Military
Operations.
