Jeffry Jackson, Patient Safety Coach

Jeff Jackson is a patient safety training facilitator and senior consultant for LifeWings providing CRM-based teamwork and communication skills training to healthcare professionals across the United States. Drawing from more than 15 years aviation experience during his 28 years of United States Air Force service, he is an expert instructor and team leader sharing proven techniques for personal, organizational, and system improvement. He has facilitated teamwork and communication skills training across the country, including Ohio State University, Wake Forest University Baptist, Hardin, and Westchester Medical Centers; and Soldiers & Sailors Memorial, Salem, United-St Paul, Adena, St Francis-Long Island, St Joseph's-Syracuse, and Stamford Hospitals.

A retired Colonel and former Air Force Command Pilot, Mr. Jackson flew more than 2,000 hours in the T-37 and T-38 jet trainers, the TG-7 motorized glider, and the F-16 fighter aircraft. As an F-16 instructor pilot, he was the operations officer for the world's largest academic and simulator training program for U.S. and allied students. He also taught at the university level in the Department of Political Science at the U.S. Air Force Academy. Mr. Jackson also has extensive experience in politico-military international affairs serving in the office of the Secretary of the Air Force; the U.S. Embassy in Paris, France; and the Ministry of Defence in London, UK.

Mr. Jackson graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy with a Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and the Humanities. As a Rhodes Scholar, he completed a Master of Arts degree at the University of Oxford in Politics and Economics.

 

Additionally, Mr. Jackson was a National Defense Fellow at the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington DC.
