John Prestia
John Prestia has more than 20
years of aviation experience, thirteen of them as a Captain for a major
commercial airline. He is a
TeamSTEPPSTM Master Trainer
experienced in airline
crew resource management training and has
assisted with the facilitation of programs at Memorial Hospital West in
Hollywood, FL.
Mr. Prestia currently works as an Instructor and Line Check Airman for a major
commercial airline and is involved with the airline’s Aviation Safety Action
program. He is also designated by the FAA to give check rides to pilots in
corporate jet aircraft.
Mr. Prestia is a graduate of the University of Nebraska with a Bachelors of
Science degree in geography and specialization in meteorology.
