Paul Yakes
Paul Yakes provides CRM-based
training to physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in many
healthcare institutions throughout the United States. Some of the hospitals Mr.
Yakes has visited include: Middle Tennessee Medical Center, Salem Hospital, and
Mt. Carmel Health System.
Mr. Yakes spent 21 years in the
United States Air Force retiring from a career that culminated in over 5000
hours as a Master Instructor Navigator. After the retirement from the military,
Mr. Yakes was hired by Raytheon Corporation as a senior Instructor Navigator,
where he developed courseware and taught new Air Force navigators both in an
academic environment and also in the flight simulator. He also was hired by Crew
Training International and during his tenure with CTI, provided CRM training to
over 2500 aircrew members at both Offutt AFB and Kadena AB, Japan. He is
currently a Senior Analyst and Joint Mobility Transportation/Action Officer at
the United States Transportation Command at Scott AFB and continues to work as a
part time instructor at CTI.
Mr. Yakes is a graduate of The
University of Missouri-Columbia where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in
Psychology and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University with a Master of Science in
