Tim Heichel

Tim Heichel is currently a first officer in the 757 and 767 aircraft for UPS. He is also qualified as an instructor pilot in the C-130 aircraft and has provided CRM training to all members of his unit. He has provided program implementation for many clients including Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital, and Vanderbilt Electricians since joining LifeWings.

Mr. Heichel earned his Air Force pilot wings and has served in the Air National Guard for over 20 years and his experiences include combat operations in Bosnia and Iraq as well as humanitarian relief efforts around the world. He was hired by Northwest Airlines in 1999 and is qualified in the DC-9 aircraft. Mr. Heichel holds an Airline Transport Pilot rating.

Mr. Heichel is a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Premedical Sciences.
