Steve Harden,

Steve Harden is
President of LifeWings Partners LLC and co-founder of Crew Training
International, Inc., the world’s largest provider of
Crew Resource Management
training for
aviation organizations. A captain for a major international airline and
former TopGun fighter pilot, Mr. Harden has been the principal architect
of LifeWings’ adaptation of aviation-based safety tools and best
practices for healthcare.
In the past year he has been responsible for the courseware and training
provided to over 12,000 physicians and staff and has worked with over 80
healthcare organizations over the last seven years to implement a
culture of safety. He is also the co-author of “CRM: The Flight Plan for
Lasting Change in Patient Safety,” the definitive how-to text on
implementing aviation-based safety tools in healthcare, published by HCPro.
Mr. Harden has consistently received excellent reviews for his dynamic
presentations and keynote speeches at 27 healthcare conferences.
Mr. Harden has been involved in human factors and safety training for a
wide variety of military and commercial customers for 18 years,
producing over 40 separate training programs for aviation, heavy
construction, military contractors, and healthcare. He is a graduate of
the U.S. Naval Academy and an FAA certified flight examiner. Mr. Harden
lives in Memphis, Tennessee with his wife and five children.
